Anne McCaffrey Bio
Anne McCaffrey (Anne Inez McCaffrey) (1 April 1926 - November 21, 2011) was a professional writer, best known for her Dragonriders of Pern series. During her 46 years career, she won a Hugo Award and a Nebula Award. Her book, The White Dragon was one of the first science fiction novels ever land on the New York Times bestseller list.
